Personally at first I was surprised people were so ignorant, but now I find it sort of humorous.

Today a girl said she didn't speak Mexican, and I corrected her and told her she meant "Spanish". we went back and forth for about 15 min because she claimed "Mexican" was correct and not Spanish

this mexican girl that speaks no english has worked at our family restaurant for a year until she quit recently in may. i speak some spanish but we mostly communicate through text message with translations from yahoo answers. a month after she quit i asked her to go out and we went out 3 times. i took her to the mall, bowling, aquarium. i kissed her on the third time we went out. one week later i took her to play tennis and we didnt go out for a month. we didn't communicate very much either after we kissed. then i asked her out to go shopping and said yes. i bought her a few things because she is poor and after i dropped her off she kissed me, (she made the move) i told her that i cared about her but i dont know what to do now. she is extremely pretty and has guys hitting on her non-stop. she is 23 and good good catholic girl. she is very very nice. i dont know if she likes me or she kissed me because i bought her some clothes. what to do?

I just read that the Mexican truck drivers, now allowed to go anywhere in the US are upset that they will have to be able to speak and understand english. This seems safe to me. Why are they upset? US drivers in Mexico will have to speak Spanish, and no one in the US is upset over that.

Don't they realize that GOP Christians can heal the wounds and raise the dead if they were suppose to follow the Bible and not oppress the minorities?
Tell that to Canadians because we never asked them to close their borders when they were spreading avian flu after traveling to Asia.

When there trying to dis some spanish kid all they could talk about are mexican why is that? they got nothing else to say about the other type of spanish people or what even though am not mexican they claim me as one

I have heard this question many times and i cant figure out how ignorant do you have to be to ask such a dumb question. Hello Mexican is a race not a language. Or they ask "are you spanish" When in reality their trying to ask if you hispanic. MMM...spanish is a language duh. So anybody care to explain why some people make such a dumb mistake while asking this?

I speak both english and spanish (native language) fluently and with their correct accents and everything...but whenever I try to speak a different language (like french) I have more of a mexican accent and not english accent. Why is that?
