Why do they assume that latinos are ignorant and that all they do is have an extrem amount of kids? Where do these assumptions come from? Do these people even know any latinos? How often do u interact with them

I have to write an essay about racism and my teacher said this one word that meant both Mexican and/or African American. Unfortunately, I forgot what it was. And I also don't want to keep writing African Americans and Mexicans a bunch of times. So if anyone knows the word please tell me quick.

Never mind guys and girls I got the answer from hgsaddgh the word minorities was the only word that meant people who are not caucasian.

city because of the time of the spanish conquistadors. in mexico city you will find mexicans with blond hair and blue eyes that can pass for 100% white people. the border town mexicans have their own dialects due to the fact that they have mexican indian backgrounds. a mexican american born in texas speaks tex-mex. another dialect derived from the mexican indian language

Or they will ask if I speech English. Just because I have some of the same features as mexican doesn't mean I am one. So next time you see someone with tan skin and dark hair don't assume they are a mexican, cause they could be A Native American, a Italian or a Indain from Indai, Okay

I'm bad at english cause i'm shy and never spoke since 6 yrs old now i'm 26. i'm bad at spanish too because even though i come from mexican parents,school was in english, university was english, and yes i never had english speaking friends, but also never had spanish speaking friends and i never really talk much. more over i learned another foreign language and i want to improve in it too. What is best way to learn in parallel 3 languages when you dont really have contact with the people with speak it, just study by your self?

i know its spanish, but its not like mexicans speak it.is it like dialect or something? my parents are from nicaragua(mom from corinto,my dad from Managua) but Mexican people think i speak spanish weird.... how is it different and what are some words that we use differently?

Yesterday I saw a man on the streets and I started speaking Mexican in a very worried way and he just looked at me.. I really thought I was helping him. Is this okay? My ex-boyfriend was emotionally abusive to me, and he loved his Spanish class. He talked about everything Spanish: from language to culture and everything in between. (I took French). He would sometimes even talk in Spanish. Now, everytime I hear someone say anything Spanish or talk about the Spanish/Mexican culture, I freak out by thinking immediately about my ex-boyfriend. How can I overcome this?
