Is it legal for illegal Mexicans to stand outside their homes drinking on the public street sitting and standing around where their car is parked ? Playing their spanish music very loud and talking very loudly in Mexican language or press 2 talk ? They said I called police, something very bad would happen to me ? Is this a threat ?

I will be graduating from nursing school next May and would like to learn Spanish because i plan on moving to texas and it'll make me more employable. Does anyone know of any programs like rosetta stone, but not as expensive?
Past immigration - Immigrants came into this country LEGALLY and immediately began adapting to the new culture. They wouldnt even teach their newborn children the old language because they wanted them to completely assimilate into American culture.
Current invasion - Illegal aliens sneak over the border, don't bother to learn the language or the culture and leave it up to the state to teach their children english.
Past immigration - Immigrants were checked very closely at Ellis island to ensure they had no diseases.
Current invasion - Illegal aliens are bringing in diseases such as TB and the bubonic plague.
Past immigration - Respected that they were now an American citizen and obeyed the law. Respected the American flag.
Current invasion - Illegal aliens bring in violent crime and gangs. Disrespect the flag by stomping on it, burning it and flying it above their mexican flag. Have an idea that the southwest US belongs to Mexico.
This is an INVASION people. NOT IMMIGRATION!
By the way, If Spaniards are European how come they speak Mexican?!
I live within 1000 yds. of the mexican border and I can tell you its is not guarded I have at least 100 illegals a wk. come to my house and ask for water and they are not the least bit afraid of being caught. They have been told by others how big a joke our border is and they even have a sense of arrogance about them when they talk about our border they actually think mexico still owns this land.
I want to learn how to make great mexican foods. I know of some dishes, but I am looking for something that is not made here, and is native to Mexico.
I would like actual recipes, or something I can look up! The landscaping rice on toast does not come up. que es esto? That is that?
Thank you Theresa S. I agree. I have never tried mexican seafood. But I will! Thanks again
looking for "El Equipo" scripts to study Spanish language
We had dance in 4th and 5th grades, in the auditorium. A commercial I just heard on television is that Mexican Hat dance music, and wondering too, since we Boomers are supposedly five times the size of the generations either before or after ours, whether this commercial is geared to us, for our memories, like so many commercials now that have rock music in the background. Did you learn that dance?
Hi,
I'm considering hiring a full time Mexican nanny to teach my newborn Spanish. Has anyone done this and what are your experiences with this?
Also, I'm planning to move to a European country in @ 4 years. I would like to repeat the nanny thing. What European language will give my children the best bang for the buck from a global corporation standpoint?
My history class is learning about the Mexican War with America. The whole thing about the annexation of Texas and conquering the west, etc. So can someone give me more information and a descriptive and easy to understand answer
Whenever I hear that accent (Castillian I think it's called), I can't help but think that the Spanish are fruitbags. They sound queer, don't they? Whereas, Mexican Spanish sounds masculine and it's often evenly paced. Do Mexicans think lowly of the Spanish because of their gay accent? And do you think it's justifiable to say that Spanish no longer belongs to the Spanish if it sounds so corrupt and wacky like how they pronounce it?
First off let me say that I am a proud support of immigration reform. My ancestors were welcomed into this country, endured hardship, and then prospered, and i feel that every person from every country on earth deserves the same treatment. I feel that the United States should have more liberal immigration laws with Mexico, and other countries around the world. So just to be clear I am not a bigot.
My question is this; When debating with conservatives about immigration, 9 times out of 10 they always bring up the fact that Mexican-Americans do not want to speak English as their primary language even though English is the unofficial majority spoken language. When my ancestors came to the United States from Eastern Europe in the early 20th century, they maintained the pride of their heritage, but learned the language of the country they moved to, to better integrate into society. So why do Spanish speakers seem to feel that keeping their pride about their heritage means not learning English, which seems to hamper their ability to move up in the work place.
So Mexican-Americans can you explain this to me a little bit, so that I can better support the cause of Immigration reform, against bigoted right wingers.
Push 1 for english or 2 for spanish just aggrivates me to now end. We cater to no other ethnic group in the world like we do for mexicans
do mexicans speak "original" Spanish? or is it mashup of other launguages?
I wanted to know if Seth is filipino, mexican, chinese, or something. What is he? And I also noticed that the show "Family Guy" talks about filipinos alot of times. Like "He's filipino" or "You came from manila, you ate (a filipino food that i forgot what it was), you had sex with 2 filipino girls and a filipino man" I mean, seriously!!! Always! Even on the Family Guy news!
You might think that since Aztlan is a Nahuatl word and Mexico is also a Nahuatl word, we all Mexicans are Aztecs.
If you think that, I might think that California, Nuevo Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Florida, Montana, or Tejas, are Spanish words, then all inhabitants in those states are Spanish.
the link has a guy holding up a sign of mexican american history.did he do drugs and forget when he was born and he needs to be reminded?http://www.theblaze.com/

I like most of the mexican people i have met. They are hard workers who only want to get ahead in life. I think we should welcome them with open arms. If i was in ther places i would hope i would have the courage to do what they are doing.
soy Mexicano
First, the border crossed us in 1848.
I crossed the illegal border, to unify with my homies and my Kin. And I crossed because Mexican economy depends on US economy. and I rather earn Dollars than pesos.
But since Bush was a corrupt and screwed up the US economy, I might think moving to Canada or Europe.
I want to learn spanish. My boyfriend is mexican but he wont teach me nothing so is there a website I can go to or any books that I can read to learn spanish. Thank you
I hear people talk about carrying their guns "Mexican carry style". Why they call it that?
By the way, I am Mexican-American and just wondering why they call it "Mexican carry style". I don't know and that is why I am asking.
I'm guessing it's Mexican language? Because my coffee fell on my way to class and some guy yelled out "Penedejo!", and everyone laughed, so I just left. But I never knew what it meant.. So what does it mean
I tried to look for a Mexican dictionary, but I couldn't find one online.
I could never figure this one out. Some Mexicans consider Americans lazy, but they don't even have the mere will power to learn the language of the country they are illegally in. It seems that everywhere I go, I see a Mexican that doesn't want to speak English. Am I the only one that thinks these people really need to wake up and smell the coffee?
