well…all i know is that in my area on the 1st of may, all the mexican restaurants were closed, my husband’s employees decided not come in to work, half of the other departments employees didn’t show up either, a 1000 students in town didn’t show up, it was not as busy day on the streets as usual, go figure

I love you for saying this! Go girl! I am also going to boycott in return! You are saying what most are thinking. Removing themselves and showing us that we CAN do it without them, we just have to make our teen agers work a little more and play a little less. I don’t want to be harsh, but this is just too much. Boycott America indeed! Excuse me, where are you at? You are boycotting the people next door in your current living arrangements. Why oh why would you tick off the neighbors?

1st off , yeah its just not Mexicans that are in this immigration issue, buts lets be real, What country is our Neighbor besides Canada? Nuff Said
Being out here in Colorado where is a large # of Hispanics. I see both sides. 1) I see people are taking this seriously w/ the protest and things such as that nature. 2) Which I’m really seeing for the most part is, if your Mexican legal or not, these issues are being used as an excuse to act out and be dumb. Especially the teen age group.. Mexican this Mexican that.. I say keep ya asses in school and let ya parents deal w/ all of this

I would hope people are smarter than that, and know that if they own a restaurant, especially a chain.. most likely they are legal..
What I do not get, is why illegal and legal Mexicans ditch work and school to prove they have a right to work and school in this country.. I think it makes them look ignorant and bad.

see what the thing is, is that people are ignorant. they think that all illegals are mexican. not true some are eastern europeans, and some are asians. not all of hispanic illegals are mexican either. some people just dont know how to respect others.

Why? Mexican Business owners are not the problem. Why should we stoop to the level of the protesters? Its not the legal business owners we should protest against.
