I just tell them fact’s like America isn’t a country, The United States has no official Language, Mexican is not a race but a nationality ect and that "Americans" always say how their proud to be free yet they want people to learn English like to force them , but that doesn’t sound so free .
you could try proper English sometime… beside, I dare you to call a Colombian Mexican, since most of you think that everyone in Latin America is Mexican
Mexican is a nationality not a race, and neither is Hispanic
Yes. I said it. And I’ll say it again
They should learn English. If I went to Mexico I would make some effort to learn Spanish, not expect people to bend over backwards and learn English.
yes. and what else gets on my nerves is the people that are gonna come here and not answer the question but instead say "mexican is not a race" like a smart ass. I speak english, but a lot of immigrants who are new dont have as much knowlegde of it yet. i agree they should learn though. but think about it, when you arrive in china, do you automatically know chinese? of course you dont unless you learned beforehand. and the reason a lot of immigrnts come here is for a better education for their kids, whereas in their country it may have been impossible to be taught english before coming to the US which is why they dont come here knowing it already.
I think its rude to say that wherever you are, people have the right to speak whatever language amongst themselves. I’ve noticed when English speaking people go abroad, they dont follow their own advice and expects every1 tthere to know english in non english speaking countries, i think its ignorant and rude.
meeeexican is NOT a race
there are black mexicans to white mexicans
and yeah it does piss me off that people are so cold hearted and xenophobic lol
sometimes I get frustrated when people dont understand what I say but I would never say something like that.
Learning a new language must be really hard, I dont really care.
This time I’m going to agree with Pablo.
I said that before to a Latino on the phone only because they disrespected me, so I had a reason. I would never say that just to say it to be mean or funny. I’m an American, born and raised, so I speak the American language okay because it’s my first. I think it’s mean to say that too a non-American because, how would you feel if you go to their country and they say, "your in Mexico speak Spanish," or what ever Spanish speaking country. I will feel mad because I can’t because I’m not from that place so they shouldn’t say that to me.
