Most medicines don’t need a prescription….your wallets a good place. Plus a doctor in Mexico can give you a prescription after a short consultation.
A prescription is a prescription no matter where you go. And in this case, it’s just a piece of paper. Even a prescription medication can be brought from one country to another so long as it has an official label on it.
It’s no problem bringing any prescription medications (that you’ve already filled) across any border and into a country so long as they are in the original packaging. That means the label is on there with your name, the medication, the dosage, your doctor’s name and phone, and the fulfilling pharmacy. I’ve been traveling since 1994 and have gone to Mexico and Europe and have never, ever been stopped or questioned about my scripts.
Good luck, and just keep your meds in their original containers.
