If an Asian person speaks to you with a Mexican accent, will you notice?

Or are you pretty oblivious at telling accents apart?
Let’s say the Asian in question is Chinese/Japanese/Korean, not Southeast Asian.

  1. I would notice, but there are many Japanese, Thai, Filipino etc(asia pacificers) that could pass as Mexican so it’s possible to just assume they were Mexican and not of Asian decent. Many work outside all day long are very dark from the all day sun exposure.

  2. It’s extremely easy to tell the accents apart. Some Mexican people look like they’re Asian but aren’t. You sound like you’re trying to say if you know this person is Asian and they speak with a Mexican accent. Yes I would notice then, but only if I don’t know their background or if I’m expecting an Asian accent to come out their mouth.

    Curiously
