In Mexican football league how long is the ban for a red card? And when does the ban take effect?
I'm talking about Mexican premier leauge (or whatever they call it). I need to know for my fantasy football game.
Seems like all my defence have conceded red cards already this season, why is mexican football so ill discipled?? That was a rhetorical question by the way, no need to answer that one. lol

Misses in one next match…
it all depense on the offense.. if you get a red card for the most part your out for that game and the next.. then they review it .. for example if you get in a fight the league can suspend you for longer and eve fine you .. but for the most part it just that game and the next
Well it’s kind of funny the way they play it, it goes a little something like this:
If it’s a second yellow card, you get the red automatically and that puts you out for that game and the next league game.
If it’s a straight red card, the foul gets reviewed and the decision of how many days you will be suspended is announced the following the review of the tape by the FMF.
If you get a yellow then a straight red, the straight red over powers the two yellow rule and the straight rule applies.
If you get four yellows in four different games, you automatically receive a desk red card. Which means you will be out one game for adding up yellows. That applies throughout the season and the liguilla. They don’t have to be yellows on consecutive games.
If your in the bench and get a red card while on the bench, that is punishable with one game. This one usually happens to the coach, if the reason of your red card is reported by the ref, the case may be reviewed and the coach or player may receive more days of suspension.
There’s other rules and regulations that apply to the yellow and red cards deal. However these are the most common ones. Good luck.
Saludos………….
You’re a "Football addict" or so your name says, and you don’t know the yellow-card, red-card rule….?hmmm
