Mexican Spanish is not the same as Spanish Spanish – but both are Spanish.
It’s a bit like the difference between British and American English.
Yes, they speak spanish just like they do in spain, but I guess it’s a different accent, it doesn’t sound quite the same.
A good comparison would be between british english and american english, it’s the same with mexican spanish and spanish in spain. It’s different dialects, but it’s still the same language, and they understand each other fine
Mexicans speak Spanish, but with different pronounciation and slightly different vocabulary (in other words, a dialect).
Of course…
All though there are many dialects inside Mexico, everyone speaks Spanish… the difference (as in every country) is that there’s a lot of slang, called "Mexicanismos"…
Good Luck
Hello,
Depends what you mean. The official language is indeed Spanish but there are other indigenous Indian languages throughout Mexico.
Cheers,
Michael Kelly
This is so stupid, its like asking is american language the same as english
there is no such thing as Mexican language. but yes, mexicans speak spanish, and like every other language, they have different accents and dialect.
All Hispanic ( Mexican, Puerto Rican, Salvadorean, Central Americans etc.) Speak Spanish, however we all have different slangs or dialogues. The true spanish language is said to be the Castelian Spanish. The Spanish from Spain. Mexico and Puerto Rico used to belong to Spain at one time.
There isn’t a "Mexican" language. They all speak Spanish.
We do speak spanish but it is different from that of spain or countries in latin america. We have a different accent, distinct words, and words that would have a different meaning in mexico than in another spanish speaking country.
In general yes, Mexicans speak Latin American spanish, but there are some Mexicans who speak native Aztec and Mayan languages. But for the most part, if you encounter a Meixcan, that person speaks Spanish.
