You are talking about the bogus conspiracy "La Reconquista"…LOL And I’ve noticed that it’s only from a few users on here. I wonder if they are members of the Minutemen Group?

The Minutemen Project and the "La Reconquista" Lie
Have you ever heard of "La Reconquista"? Odds are, if you aren’t a raging bigot or a member of the Minutemen Project, you probably haven’t heard of it at all. But perhaps its time to learn about it. After all, notions of "La Reconquista" are being used to fuel racism and promote vigilantism in America.
You see, La Reconquista is a theory which contends that Mexico and Latin America, at large, are conspiring to conquer the American southwest. However, unlike some other conspiracies, the proponents of La Reconquista offer no piece of evidence to support their accusations other than the fact that many Latin Americans are entering into the country. (Curiously, was the influx of Irish immigrants in the 1860’s proof of a secret Irish invasion to conquer America? Oh wait, those guys were white….my bad.)

Reconquista: A nativist creation
A couple of years ago, I addressed the Reconquista myth because this myth was making it rounds among hard-core right-wing pundits. It seems the same conspiracy theory is once again making those rounds again. One of the approaches xenophobic conservative pundits use to stir up fear so people are willing to support tough immigration policies is race baiting. Given the history of race relations in the US, history has shown repeatedly that this nation is willingly to act aggressively in punishing minorities.
The same right-wing populist fears that fueled the Cold War anti-communism, rallied against the Civil Rights Movement and brought about the armed citizens militia movement in the 1990s have reappeared with an elaborate conspiracy theory about the reconquering of America – La Reconquista – the idea that Mexicans are invading America to reclaim it for Mexico.
When they want to try we will gladly kick their @sses again
There is a lot of racism amongst the Mexican community. They talk Aztlan and a lot of other bull, it’s rather disgusting.
just read La Raza’s mission statement… they believe the southwest US belongs to Mexico and that they have a "right" to "reclaim" it.
i know people who don’t even belong to such a radical, racist group who believe the same thing. they believe the myth that the southwest states were "stolen" from Mexico.
of course any person who has actually read a real history book knows this is absurd.
the funny part is, if we let them have the southwest, in no time it would be as 3rd world as the rest of Mexico. they come to our country illegally then talk about their "brown pride" and cry "viva la mexico." but they obviously recognize mexico is a dump which is why they come here…. bizarred and irrational behavior.
Mexicans don’t even know what La Reconquista is LOL!
Hannity falsely claims NCLR "has called for Mexico to annex southwestern states."

yes it’s true, it never belonged to them to begin with. it belonged to the native americans in the united states. and before them it belonged to god. ask them how does it feel to want.
It’s an urban legend, contrived by people who are totally clueless (especially by the one reader who claims that he’s read La Raza’s mission statement, yet doesn’t post it for you to see). People are paranoid, and only paranoid people would believe it to be true. But rest assured, it would never happen.
PS….La Raza is not a "Mexican Only" organization and it never has been. La Raza is much like the NAACP or ACCESS. La Raza verbatim does mean ‘the race’ however it is a mulitiple meaning word…in this instance it means ‘the people.’

La Raza means "The Race". "The Race" generally means anyone who is Hispanic or Latino. Hispanics and Latinos are already taking back the Southwest. They’re just happen to be very cowardly in their approach. They will fail and if they don’t, they will simply turn the Southwest into a garbage heap.
