Which spanish would you prefer to learn, Mexican spanish or spanish from Spain?
If you were considering learning spanish which type of spanish would you rather learn? Mexican or Spaniard? there is also south american spanish? I ask this because I'm curious to know if United Statians (and I quote "Americans") have a preference.

Mexicans have a lot of rare words. These words aren’t spanish.
And the spanish of Spain is more original and more people will understand you
I like Spaniard Spanish because their tone/accent is cuter.
People say that Spainard Spanish is the original Spanish making it the best one but I actually disagree with that.
I say Colombian spanish sounds the most delightful to hear and the words just feel more fluent and the R’s are rolled off just so much better than spainards.
I was born and raised in Miami and am around lots of different people from different south american countries.
Also Stan doesn’t know Cr@p! No offense, I’ve visited South American countris and they’re beautiful and have some of the Hottest Women in the World!! Including Colombia, Puerto Rico and yes even Mexico! And if Countries like Mexico are going downhill so much then how come the richest man in the world is a Mexican who owns a Mexican company in Mexico!! Carlos Slim Helu!! His Networth is Higher than Bill Gates!!!
Another thing, Stand Mentioned the trade? Colombia is number one in trading with the U.S. of Tobacco and Coffee! So I don’t know wtf Stan is talking about, he’s obviously ignorant!
Anyway like I said, answer to the question is Colombian Spanish! You can even Google Colombian Spanish and you get articles on people claiming that it is in fact THE best spanish!
well i don’t know what you would like but if you want to be more proper then learn Spaniard Spanish but if you want it to be use full learn Latin American Spanish
Doesn’t really matter. It wont make a difference which one you know. You can understand both when you can understand Spanish well.
That’s probably not the answer you were looking for. So if you had to choose between the two, I would choose Spaniard Spanish. Just because almost all S. American and C. American countries along with Mexico are doing nothing but going downhill. Visiting them could likely result in kidnapping or muggings amongst other violent crimes. Those countries don’t have that great of a future in business and trade. I would love to visit Spain though… So!
On the other hand. If you live on the west coast or down south, there is a crap-ton of Southern American, and Mexican immigration. So I guess where I would live would also effect my choice.
Once again though, it doesn’t really matter. I wouldn’t think about it for more the 30 seconds.
