I don't really understand it because we got a lot of good players in there like Beckham and Donavan. And there are many Mexican players and Hispanic players in there also. I don't understand why it's not more popular and among the most popular leagues.

I used to watch the MLS in its first seasons, but it is boring now….Mexican league is more interesting to me and better…I am mexican american, but MLS doesnt catch my attention..I won’t lie, I do watch it from time to time, but only the good teams(LA Galaxy, DC)..As far as other Hispanics, there are many Bolivians(also South Americans) and Central Americans who see MLS as their league…I live in VA, near Washington DC, and there are many Hispanic supporters of DC UNited….but I don’t see this as right…It’s not their team, its the US’s team….But since their country’s leagues suck, they support the better teams…Mexicans don’t sell out, on the other hand, Central and South Americans do….
not t be rude but mls is boring plus it has a weird way of operating there’s not relegation somebody can come and say i wanna be in d mls pay slump of cash and there you go plus the quality is very very poor plus you can’t really compete with the mexican teams
I support the MLS %100, but it has a long way to go. Most Hispanics don’t see the game level as being up there with their league. I think it’s true to a certain extend, I can really only think of 2-3 teams from the MLS who can compete with teams from the FMF. And as good as Donovan and Beckham have been, those players are far and few in the league. Other leagues have dozens of players who are just as good, if not better than them.
MLS is not a very good league. The calibre of play is not to the standard of many other leagues around the world, they play on plastic fields and in some cases those fields have the gridiron markings on them, which looks very amateur. and they don’t have a promotion and relegation system. Many of us who were born into a football (soccer) culture find the MLS is of a much lower standard than what we are used to.

mls is kinda boring. as far as i know theres only 2 mexicans that play in the mls. when you live in the US and are exposed to other soccer around the world like La Liga, EPL, And the FMF, you get an understanding of how to play the game and it kinda sets the bar for lesser leagues like the mls. even though the mls gets players like blanco, beckham, there all players that are past there prime. the league will be better if we hold on to young players and develope them into superstars and that way attracts more attention and makes this league one of the top in the world
it’s just so boring FMF has better players and better games..they’re just more interesting than mls..they have better commentators too

its always the Mexican teams! The soccer from here really is bad, I’d much rather watch Canadian soccer or something!

Im guessing its because the MLS hasnt grown much and its not advertised enough and not competitive enough.. in the Mexican league there are alot of players that go to la sleccion which makes people want to see the FMF more to see how the players are playing..some people are already use to watching FMF and dont wanna change and watch MLS. if people dont watch FMF they go to european leagues which are really good and wont get boring
