Why do americans speak english in spanish speaking country?

Im a Mexican and i can speak english and i can read and write in both languages. I dont know why americans have to judge my people so harshly, if any american had to live a day in a mexicans shoes they would regret every negative stereotype they so wholeheartedly laugh at everytime someone else decides to belittle another race.

It annoys me that Americans think that they were the first ones here, that their language is the ony language that can be spoken in the presence of a country made up entirely of immigranats both legal and illegal, no offense to those of you with some common sense but those people are completely and utterly ignorant. Open your eyes and look around its a Brown majority in this country now. Why is it that jobs pay more for bilinguals? That everywhere you go theres always someone that can help you if you cant read english but speak spanish? That school systems are employing more teachers that can speak and teach spanish? Face it America is not an English speaking country, We are America i aqui se habla espanol, oprima numero 2 para hablar con un representativo bilingue.

And just a little reminder, Mexicans arent the only ones that can speak spanish. Think more, think further south.

because they can. Anyone can speak any language they want. First Amendment. And they don’t have to speak english if they know it. If you get annoyed because you think they’re talking about you, learn spanish.

The ones that know English choose not to do so because they have NO respect for America. Some, don’t know the language all that well so feel insecure about speaking it. I say do your best, try, I will understand you and if I don’t in English then we can clarify it in Spanish
